The Corporate Sourcing Leadership Exchange meetings will be facilitated by faculty members who are thought leaders in the sourcing area.
Shally Steckerl of JobMachine and Rob McIntosh, Sourcing Lead at Deloitte have agreed to be a part of our faculty. Both have established and operated world class sourcing operations. Rob and Shally have also presented at prestigious conferences like ERE - Electronic Recruiting Exchange and Kennedy Information Conference. Shally and Rob join Marc Hutto and Conni LaDouceur, managing principals at ExecuQuest, as faculty members. They have a combined total of 40-plus years sourcing passive talent and leading sourcing functions.
Rounding out our faculty is Denny Clark, former director of recruiting for Wachovia Bank and currently director of The Thought Leadership Institute.
Individual Profiles

Denny Clark
Denny Clark is a well-recognized and respected leader in Human Capital, sourcing and recruitment. He is best known for his role as SVP and Director of Recruiting for Wachovia where he led the implementation and provided leadership for the centralized sourcing and recruiting function. Denny also had responsibility for two specialty recruiting functions – an internal fee for service administrative and professional temp/IT contractor service, FirstPlace, and an internal fee-based retained search service called the Executive Search Group – with combined gross revenues of $168 mil.
In his role as Recruiting Solutions Director, Denny enhanced the recruiting business model through establishing a dedicated sourcing group, creating a vendor management function and improving productivity through implementation of a consistent sales management process (Short Cycle Sales Management). After running a recruitment consulting business for the past year, Denny has joined ExecuQuest as Director, Advisory Services.
Marc Hutto
Marc Hutto is Managing Principal, ExecuQuest, LLC. His previous fifteen years with Wachovia Corporation in conducting and leading recruiting, research and sourcing brings an execution-focus to ExecuQuest in the delivery of search/research services, Search/Research Success™ by ExecuQuest learning workshop, performance coaching, and advisory services to companies that wish to build or optimize an internal sourcing function.
Prior to joining ExecuQuest, Marc served as the SVP, Sourcing Solutions Director, for Wachovia. He built and led a team of geographically dispersed research and sourcing professionals that grew from 6 to 55 over a six-year period. He is a member of the International Association for Corporate & Professional Recruitment, the International Coach Federation, and he served on the Board of Directors for the American Cancer Society, and the Regional HIV/AIDS Consortium and has served on the National Advisory Board for the Human Capital Institute.
Conni LaDouceur
Conni LaDouceur is Founder and Managing Principal of ExecuQuest, Baltimore, MD. She delivers over twenty years of combined search/research experience to ExecuQuest in service of her client’s critical hiring needs. The innumerable clients that Conni has served over the years span multiple and diverse industries from Abrasive Sand Mining to Wealth Management.
This breadth of industry and functional experience brings precision in the pursuit of passive candidates to the Fortune 500 clients and retained executive search clients of the firm. This knowledge-base is also instrumental in the effective delivery of the unique-in-the-market SEARCH/RESEARCH SUCCESS™ by ExecuQuest Learning Workshop.
Prior to launching ExecuQuest, Conni honed her research skills over a five-year period at Heidrick & Struggles, Inc. in New York and Greenwich, CT. Conni has successfully led ExecuQuest and its valued clients through multiple years of challenging labor and financial market conditions. In an era of picked-over databases and directories, Conni believes in the effectiveness of original human intelligence in securing accurate, actionable research for successful recruiting.
Rob McIntosh
Rob McIntosh is a Senior Recruiting Leader and Strategist with 12+ years of Global Recruitment experience primarily focused on building world class Sourcing Organizations. His expertise covers Aggressive and Creative Sourcing Strategies; Talent Relationship Management (TRM/CRM) programs and Solutions; Full 'Cradle to Grave' Sourcing/Recruiting metrics and benchmarking; International Sourcing (off shoring, in-sourcing & outsourcing). He is constantly looked to by leaders both in the US and internationally for new, creative and ground breaking ideas to help identify and pipeline talent to meet current and future business demand.
Rob started his recruiting career in Sydney Australia as a third party recruiter before relocating to Canada in 1999 where he ultimately ran the National Recruitment for Microsoft Canada. He relocated to Microsoft headquarters in Seattle where he was responsible for the design and architecture of the Technical Central Sourcing organization where he hired and led a team of sourcing luminaries such as Shally Steckerl, Jim Stroud and Glenn Gutmacher.
Rob currently leads the Deloitte Sourcing Organization supporting all the lines of business across the US to help identify passive talent against current and future demand.
Prior to finding his passion in recruiting and sourcing, he spent many years in software/ hardware sales and originally started his career as a COBOL/PRG Computer Programmer/ Operator, where even today you can still find him using his technical skills to assess and evaluate the latest sourcing and research technology. In his spare time between raising three lovely children and spending time with his wife landscaping and gardening, you will find him applying his deep Boolean Syntax knowledge to uncover hard to find talent in the deep corners of the web for fun.
Shally Steckerl
Shally Steckerl is a talent acquisition consultant, strategist, and speaker originally from Colombia, South America, now residing in Atlanta, Georgia. Shally is the Founder and Chief CyberSleuth of JobMachine, Inc. , the premier provider of sourcing consulting services and workforce development. Early in his career Shally realized that as a contingency recruiter he could beat the competition by finding people who were not available in mainstream sources. Since then he has been instrumental in building numerous world class sourcing and research organizations.
Because of his passion for the Internet as a recruitment tool and his continually innovative methods, Shally has developed a reputation as one of the most respected authorities in passive candidate research and talent pipeline development worldwide. A pioneer in recruitment Internet research, accomplished author and celebrated speaker, he is a regular contributor to many industry publications. Shally is frequently requested to present at leading domestic and international recruiting conferences and conduct private workshops.
Shally now spends his time consulting with organization interested in building passive candidate pipeline generation and recruitment teams, and developing their advanced sourcing skills.

Pat Chadbourne
Pat Chadbourne is the director and owner of APAC Associates, Inc., a company that specializes in workforce planning solutions. Pat is a well recognized and respected leader in workforce planning, human resources and talent acquisition solutions. As a senior leader and industry consultant, Pat has over 20 years experience in development and implementation of long term business strategies designed to address the human capital needs of an organization. As a certified six sigma black-belt, Pat combines her industry knowledge together with a disciplined project management style to help client organizations arrive at sustainable long term workforce planning and human capital solutions.
Prior to establishing APAC Associate, Inc., Pat held senior leadership/consulting positions in several domestic and international world class companies including Bank of America; First Union/Wachovia; MCI/Worldcom; Panda Motors – China; General Dynamics; and Magnavox Government Systems.
John Chaisson has served most of his career as a high-tech lawyer then business development executive and consultant to high-tech firms. He holds a law degree from Stanford University and an economics undergraduate degree. He has worked with hi-tech start ups in Silicon Valley for almost two decades. John has twice served as General Counsel and VP Business Development with leading technology firms, including a subsidiary of major public multi-national technology player Ceridian. John began working in the Human Capital industry when he joined Resumix, then the No. 1 ATS software provider and a new subsidiary of IT services giant Ceridian, as its new General Counsel. John has distinguished himself within Human Capital Circles as an innovator and provocateur. John is the author of numerous articles on talent management and leadership, was the founding editor of the Center for Global Workforce Excellence, and developed two ground breaking white papers: "Global Talent Management: Fostering Global Workforce Practices That Are Scalable, Sustainable and Ethical" (HCI: 2004) & "Top Ten Challenges of Corporate Recruiting: Emergence of the Talent Management Organization" (Peoplesoft Paper: 2001).
Today, John continues to support both HR leaders and vendors within Human Capital circles as a faculty member of the Thought Leadership Institute.
